THIS WEEK’S PICKS

Tuesday, April 21
Sophia Loren – Four score and still pretty hot. Check her out when she was even hotter tonight in the 1964 Italian comedy Marriage Italian Styleco-starring the criminally under-appreciated Marcello Mastroianni, and directed by Vittoria De Sica.
Friday, April 24
This Friday, indulge in two Billy Wilder-directed, Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine-starring comedies. One is the under-the-radar Irma La Douce from 1963; the other is the all-time classic The Apartment from 1960.
Saturday, April 25
Love giant Japanese monster movies? If not, get the hell off my lawn. If yes, then you need to watch Rodanfeaturing the debut of Godzilla’s sometime-friend and oftentime-foe, a radioactive Pteradon who just wants love (and destruction).
