Lots of less-remembered flicks are on the lineup for this week. If you’re looking for a common thread, I’d say each one was ahead of its time…it’s a weak thread, but c’mon man, I’m doing this for free!
Greta Garbo, Bette Davis, and Ingrid Bergman. Three of the finest film actresses to ever light up the screen get some love in this week’s lineup.
Turner Classic Movies is trying to kill me. Seriously. Some weeks I scratch and claw to find any films that are worthwhile. This week features three films that are certifiable classics. You can make some serious progress on your “Classic Films I Need To See” list this week alone.
If I were a tool, I would say this week’s lineup is “epic”. However, I’m not a tool, I’m a dweeb, so I’ll say this week’s lineup is “sweet”, featuring some epic chick flicks (you read that right), and the Marx Brothers bringing the mayhem as only they could!
All of this weeks pictures are pretty great, but not, y’know, Godfather-level masterpieces or anything. So we need a new word to describe them…how about “lesser-pieces”? Yeah, that’s good. We should make that a thing – #lesserpieces!

You might say this week’s films are “Movies I Always Kinda’, Sorta’ Thought About Seeing, But Never Really Went Out Of My Way To See, So I Guess I Might As Well See Them.”
So yeah, I’d definitely check them out, though if you’d rather just go see Jurassic World again, nobody would blame you.
