Turner Classic Tuesday — May 10-16, 2016

Each Tuesday Hunter highlights the best classic films airing in the coming week on TCM.

Two principle pics from cinema’s greatest filmmakers, plus the big screen debut of another!

THIS WEEK’S PICKS

<strong>Tuesday, May 10</strong>
Howard Hawks directs Gary Cooper as Sergeant York, a pacifist farm boy who turned WWI hero. Coop’s kinda’ like Superman, minus the powers or suit.
<strong>Thursday, May12</strong>
From Stanley Kramer, director of It’s a Mad(x4) World, comes Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? You don’t have to ask though – it’s Sidney Poitier. Noteworthy for being Spencer Tracy’s final film.
<strong>Thursday, May12</strong>
Francis Ford Coppola’s film debut has nothing to do with mobsters, the Vietnam war, or overgrown man-children. It’s a creepy little B-pic titled Dementia 13.

If you catch one of Hunter’s TCT picks share your thought with us on Twitter or Facebook!
