Turner Classic Tuesday — March 29-April 4, 2016

Each Tuesday Hunter highlights the best classic films airing in the coming week on TCM.

Two melancholy meditations on life and love from a pair of moviedom’s finest filmmakers…also Shaft In Africa!

THIS WEEK’S PICKS

<strong>Wednesday, March 30</strong>
In Wild Strawberries, a professor reflects back on his loveless life on his way to an awards ceremony. You gotta’ hand it to Ingmar Bergman. Dude knew how to make an uplifting film.
<strong>Thursday, March 31</strong>
Love In The Afternoon is probably the Billy Wilder blind spot for most. Gary Cooper plays an American tycoon who courts a Parisian beauty, played by Audrey Hepburn…this movie sounds remarkably similar to Donald Trump’s life story. Please don’t let that dissuade you.
<strong>Saturday, April 2</strong>
I haven’t seen Shaft In Africa, but if you need any more incentive besides the title – I don’t know you.

If you catch one of Hunter’s TCT picks share your thought with us on Twitter or Facebook!
